Story Updates and General Organization

This week was a big week for upgrading our story. We have realized that our previous opening scenes were still focused more on Rory rather than Finn. Since our story was originally about Rory the scenes centered around them, which our newer team members pointed out. I think because the original team members have known the story for a while, it was obvious in our minds that Finn was the main character, not Rory. We ended up changing the first couple of scenes so than it was specifically centered around Finn. For example, Finn is the first character that we are going to see in the film and the frames will be focused on them to help establish them as the main character. We also added a scene in to convey Finn and Rory's familial love a little better.

Organization:

This week, I continued to update and organize our group's Miro board. I reorganized the looks of the board, updated the meeting notes, and then I made it somewhat visually appealing. I ended up adding a 3D Progress section to the board to try to encourage more 3D work to be done. I've noticed that our group is very focused on concept art and doing things for the far future of our project. There are a lot of clothing designs or little extra details that really don't need to be focused on right now. What we need is to get blocking done for all of our assets so we can add them to the 3D animatic. The only arts that I have done recently has been front and side character sketches to assist in the blocking. Right now, I have been basically in charge of all the background characters. I have done all of their blocking and gotten them ready for sculpting from myself and other team members. However, I don't think anything has been done for the main characters and the Ring Master. To my recollection, the only modeling that has been done for them has been by the people setting up the animatic so we actually have the main characters there. If necessary, in the following week, I will start the blocking for the other three characters so then all of the character assets have something.
