New Character Developments and Some Behind the Scenes in my Group's Organization

So today I present some of the work that I've been doing these past couple weeks. These are still all very much in progress and going to change, but like its a lil sneaky behind the scenes.

First Up: Character Updates

So as of right now, Mike has been removed from the film and Harold's color palette has been changed. Too many people were getting Mike confused with another popular round one eyed monster, and there were plenty of other background characters so a fifth one would have neem extra work. Then for Harold, we changed his colors because his and Arnie's were very similar with the orangish colors so we needed to vary them more. Harold's purples might still change in saturation and all that, but he looks snazzy.

I have also started blocking out Harold and Lizzo's character models. There are still parts missing (aka hands) but who needs hands when you can be stuck in a forever t-pose? I am planning on continuing the blocking, but for now these will work for the basic animatic pass.

I am planning on sculpting these characters once we have most of our assets blocked out. Harold's hair will be completely sculpted and I will be fixing the head shapes and adding little fuzz and scales. Lizzo's tail will most likely remain straight so than when he is rigged then we can use that to curl it up and be able to maneuver his tail better.

Second Up: Organizing Our Group

One of the things that I have been doing is keeping the group's Miro board somewhat organized and filled with relevant information. I do need to give it an update with the information from Friday's class but for now, I enjoy how it looks.

It is pretty small, but that is mostly because not all of the information here is not needed for everyone to know.

I really hope I did not miss anything, but if I did, I can always make another post (or see if it is possible to edit this one??) But so far we have been making great progress!
