More Story Updates!

Heck yeah! We are still iterating our story! Lots and lots of time and effort is going into the story to make it the absolute best we can!

Its kind of funny because a lot of our stuff is looping to our early ideas. Rory might become the main character again, and it is more of a work setting again. I kind of hope that we stick with the version we worked on on Friday, because I really like the work burnout idea and Rory's struggle with being a middle manager. Right now, we are having Rory want to please both the Ring Master but also want their freedom with the others, so their ark is making the decision which one to go through. Hint: it is helping the others and gaining their freedom from oppression.

I think part of the reason why I am enjoying this story so much is because I have personally been struggling with getting overworked from both school and work at the same time. Lots of things in these recent weeks have been really frustrating with my peers, lots of last minute callouts and people not showing up and leaving the rest of the team to cover their butts.

Its been super fun too because we get to update our team contract for this project due to the mass amount of problems we have been having with our members. The other class, we had one member just not show up or tell us anything till about 15 minutes before class ended and it was super frustrating because they had work that we needed for that class. We have had maybe 2 classes out of the 10? classes that everyone has actually attended at the same time. I have showed up to every class, no matter how I am feeling, and I hate that there hasn't been any consequences for them not showing up. I have talked to the teachers, and hopefully they will be able to put some sense into the problem people.

For now, I continue to work and help with the story! I hope next update I will have some actual images to share (like maybe some character models).
