Since the last update, I have finished Finn's head base, added all of the extras, and I have started working on their head hair.
I have worked on making sure the geometry is going to be nice for rigging and for the facial rig, especially. I want Finn to be able to emote really well because there won't be any dialogue. We need them to be able to show, don't tell.
One day and I do need to do this again; I got Paul Connor's advice on how to make the model better. I ended up having to redo a good chunk of the face around the mouth to make sure the geometry lines would work nicely for the emotes. Once I get the hair finished I will ask Paul again for more feedback.

For the next week, I would like to finish the hair and get more of the clothing worked on. Or depending on what happens with my other groupmates, I might end up working on parts of the other characters.

I did change the horns from the original reference, but now they look better in the 3D realm. I really like how twisty the are!

With their bun, I think I'll end up sculpting it so then it matches the hair. I really like the little twist it has, so I am really hoping I'll be able to keep it nice when it goes into zBrush.

The above and below are some of the work-in-progress screenshots of the hair sculpt. I'm trying to figure out how to make sure it looks good, but zBrush is mean.
